Massive Clear Springs Project Steps Forward
The proposed 18,000-acre Clear Springs development inched closer to turning dirt Monday with the Planning and Zoning Commission's approval of the overall concept for the project.
The planning commission is recommending that the City Commission approve the concept, called a sector plan, for the entire site.

DayJet Service Grows Through Word of Mouth
Businessman Sam Killebrew was one of the first to sign up when a new air passenger service from Lakeland Linder Regional Airport was announced last year by DayJet Corp.
Unlike a traditional airline that has regular flights available to everyone, DayJet offers a members-only service aimed at business travelers going to smaller cities in Florida and nearby states. When DayJet customers call, a small three-passenger jet picks them up.
