DESCRIPTION:Polk County Public Schools and Polk Vision’s Countywide Higher Education Workforce (CHEW) subcommittee is hosting the Polk County District College & Career Fair. This event will provide local organizations the opportunity to connect with high school students and discuss career pathing. \n  \n“We want to increase access and opportunities for students and parents by expanding the fair to include employers\,” said Monique Byrd\, PCPS’ college and career specialist. “We hope that families will take advantage of the opportunity to meet with representatives in person\, and receive the information and resources they need to start thinking about enrollment\, enlistment\, or employment after high school!” \n  \nOrganizations wishing to participate are asked to please RSVP HERE by Friday\, March 4\, 2022. \n  \nMarch 10 | 6-8 PM \nFlorida Southern College Jenkins Filed House \n111 Lake Hollingsworth Dr.\, Lakeland\, FL \n
